HejSpoko

Feedback while the customer is still with you

More Google reviews, and a second chance with unhappy customers.

HejSpoko gives every customer two equal options on one screen: private feedback or a public review. You find out what went wrong while they are still with you — a low rating sends you an alert, so you can put it right on the spot.

Who it is for

Who is HejSpoko for?

For venues where the Google rating decides whether somebody walks in for the first time — and where an unhappy customer can still be won back.

The code does not have to sit on a table. It works just as well on a receipt, on a handover form, at reception or in an e-mail footer — and every venue writes its own customer-facing texts.

Why it matters

Why do you hear about the problem only from a public review?

An unhappy customer will not tell you

They tell Google. Three days later, from home, when nothing can be done about it — no apology, no fix. You find out once the review is already up.

A happy customer forgets to leave a review

Not because they do not want to. Nobody asked them in the one moment they would have said yes — on the spot, phone in hand, while they were still happy.

How it works

How does HejSpoko work, in three steps?

You print the code, the customer scans it, you reply. Nothing in between needs doing, and your staff never touch the system.

  1. Print the QR code

You get the QR code and a finished A6 insert as PDF and PNG. Print it on an ordinary printer and you are done. No delivery to wait for, no designer.

  2. The customer chooses

One screen shows four rating steps and the link to a public review. Both options at once, always, no matter how happy they are.

  3. You reply

A low rating sends you an alert. You reply from the app, the customer gets an e-mail and can answer it directly.

Comparison

Why pay when the Google QR code is free?

If you already have a QR code straight to Google, keep it. HejSpoko earns its place when you also want to hear from the customers who would otherwise say nothing.

In HejSpoko every customer sees the public review link, as visibly as the other option. Filtering reviews by how happy someone is breaks Google's policy, and Google can remove the reviews for it.

The second chance

What happens on a low rating?

This is what a reply to a rating of 2 out of 4 can look like.

19:42 — the alert arrives

Customer · rating 2 · table 7

We waited twenty minutes for the bill, otherwise fine. Food was great.

The customer is still with you.

19:51 — you reply from your phone

Good evening, we are sorry about that. Our card terminal was playing up on Friday and it held people up. Tell us on the way out next time — your next coffee is on us.

Questions we get

What do people ask most often?

How does HejSpoko work?

A customer scans the QR code on the table or on a receipt and one screen shows two options: four steps of private rating, and a link to a public review. They see both before rating anything. A low rating alerts the venue, which can reply while the customer is still on the premises.

Why pay when the Google QR code is free?

A free Google code sends the unhappy customer straight into a public review, and the venue only finds out once it is published. HejSpoko leaves that link where it is and puts a second option beside it — writing to the venue directly. The venue gets an alert and a chance to respond during the visit.

Will HejSpoko get me fewer Google reviews?

HejSpoko never blocks or filters Google reviews, and every customer sees the Google link before rating anything, as visibly as the other option. How many public reviews a venue gets always depends on its customers — HejSpoko only adds a second route for the people who would have written nothing at all.

Is this review gating?

It is not. Both options — private feedback and a public review — are on the screen at once, before the customer rates anything. Nobody is routed by how happy they are. Google prohibits review gating and can remove reviews for it; that is what the cards which only let smiling customers through actually do.

Do I have to train my staff?

No. Your staff never touch the system: the QR code sits on the table or the counter, or is printed on a receipt, and the customer scans it themselves. The owner or manager opens the app, and only when a low rating raises an alert. Setting a venue up takes as long as printing one page.

When will a venue see its first feedback?

As soon as the QR code is in place. The print file is ready as A6 in both PDF and PNG, so one printed page is all that stands between signing up and the first rating. Nothing to be delivered, no designer and no technician — and the first ratings arrive from the tables where the code actually sits.

Do I need a card for the trial?

No. The thirty days run without a card and without a commitment. If a venue decides not to continue, the account locks: the QR codes on the tables stop collecting feedback, the data stays with the venue and can be downloaded. The subscription can be cancelled in the app at any time, with no notice period.

Where is customer data stored?

In the European Union. A customer enters an e-mail address only when they want a reply, and every e-mail carries a link that erases their data themselves. The venue sets how long feedback is kept. HejSpoko is a service of Awaniro, and the processing is described in the data processing agreement.

Does HejSpoko work outside hospitality?

Yes. Besides restaurants and cafés it suits hotels and guesthouses, salons and wellness, car services, gyms, shops and other local services. The QR code can sit on a receipt, on a handover form, at reception or in an e-mail footer — the product assumes no table and no waiter, and each venue writes its own texts.

The simplest way to find out whether HejSpoko suits you is to try it in the venue.
