Feedback for car services

Find out what went wrong before the customer posts a review

After a repair, tyre service, cleaning or another vehicle service, the customer collects the car and leaves. A QR code on the receipt, invoice or handover document gives them two equal options: contact you privately or leave a public review.

HejSpoko gives car service customers a simple way to speak up after collecting their vehicle. The QR code can be placed on an invoice, receipt or handover document. Before submitting a rating, customers see both private feedback and public review options. A low rating sends the owner or manager a notification within a minute.

The right place

Where should a car service business place the QR code?

Put it on something the customer takes with them after collecting the vehicle.

Once the service is complete, the customer collects the vehicle, pays and leaves. The QR code therefore belongs on the invoice, receipt or handover document they receive.

Scanning it opens one screen. The customer rates the experience and, before submitting anything, sees both the option to contact you directly and the option to continue to Google, Tripadvisor or another configured platform.

If they later notice an unresolved issue, an unclear invoice item or a problem with the completed service, they have a direct way to contact you before making their experience public.

  • QR code on the invoice or receipt
  • QR code on the handover document
  • Feedback source identified by the relevant QR code

How it works

What happens after the service is completed?

The customer does not need to install anything or search for your contact details.

  1. They scan the QR code

The code is on the receipt or document they received when collecting the vehicle. It opens a simple rating page.

  2. They choose where to write

Before submitting the rating, they see equal options to send private feedback to you or continue to a public review.

  3. You are alerted to a problem

A low rating triggers a notification within a minute. You can reply by email, investigate what happened and continue the conversation.

Google plus a second door

Why is a QR code straight to Google not enough?

Google reviews matter. HejSpoko does not replace them; it adds a direct route for customers to tell you about a problem.

After vehicle collection

What can you resolve before it becomes a public complaint?

Not every problem needs a public response. Often it simply needs to reach the right person.

The service result is not right

After collecting the vehicle, the customer notices a problem or feels that the work was not completed as agreed. Without a direct route to you, they may first explain their dissatisfaction publicly.

They can contact you directly

You receive the feedback together with its context. You can contact the customer, check what happened and agree on the next step.

The price or explanation is unclear

The customer does not understand an invoice item, a price change or what was done to the vehicle. After leaving, they may feel they did not receive a clear explanation.

You can explain the situation

A low rating alerts the owner or manager. They can reply by email, explain the situation and continue the conversation where necessary.

No review gating

Can HejSpoko hide Google from an unhappy customer?

No. Private feedback and the public review option are displayed equally before the customer submits their rating.

Review gating based on the number of stars is therefore not merely disabled in HejSpoko. It is technically impossible because no submitted rating exists when the two options are displayed.

Google remains available to every customer. HejSpoko simply adds another option: tell you directly what went wrong.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked

What types of car service businesses can use HejSpoko?

HejSpoko can be used for services where customers collect a vehicle or leave the premises after the work is completed, including repairs, tyre services, cleaning and other vehicle care. The key moment is the same: the customer receives a QR code with their document and can contact you even after leaving.

Where should a car service business place the QR code?

The most practical place is a document the customer takes away after the service, such as an invoice, receipt or handover document. They still have access to the code after leaving, when they may inspect the result more closely, notice a problem or want to describe their experience.

What happens when a customer gives a low rating?

The owner or manager receives a notification within a minute. The overview shows the rating, comment, feedback category and QR code source. If the customer provided contact details, you can reply by email, investigate what happened and continue the conversation until the situation is explained or addressed.

Does HejSpoko filter unhappy customers away from Google reviews?

No. That type of review gating is technically impossible in HejSpoko. Private feedback and public review options are shown before the rating is submitted and receive equal treatment. The system therefore cannot use the rating result to decide who sees Google and who does not.
