Feedback for salons

Find out what is wrong before the customer leaves

A QR code by the mirror, at reception or during payment gives customers a simple way to speak up. Before submitting a rating, they see two equal options: contact you privately or continue to a public review.

HejSpoko helps salons catch dissatisfaction before the customer leaves. A QR code can be placed by the mirror, at reception or during payment. The customer rates the visit and sees both private feedback and public review options before submitting. A low rating sends the owner or manager a notification within a minute.

The right place

Where should a salon place the QR code?

Put it where the customer has a moment and can already judge the result.

The QR code can sit by the mirror, at reception or on a document used during payment. The customer sees it at a point when they can already decide whether they are satisfied with the service.

If you have several workstations or areas, separate QR codes can help you identify where the feedback came from.

If the customer is unhappy with the result, waited too long or was uncomfortable during the visit, they can tell you before leaving instead of making a public review their first detailed response.

  • Feedback source identified by the relevant QR code

How it works

What happens when a customer scans the QR code?

No app installation and no need to search for the salon's contact details.

  1. They rate the visit

Scanning the QR code opens a simple page where the customer can rate their experience with one tap.

  2. They choose where to write

Before submitting the rating, they see equal options to send private feedback to the salon or continue to a public review.

  3. You are alerted to a problem

A low rating triggers a notification within a minute. If the customer is still in the salon, you can ask what is wrong and try to address it before they leave.

Google plus a second door

Why is a QR code straight to Google not enough?

Google reviews matter. HejSpoko does not replace them; it adds a direct route for the customer to tell you about a problem.

Before they leave

What can you fix while the customer is still in the salon?

With a personal service, a small adjustment or a short explanation can make a significant difference.

The result is not what they expected

The customer is not completely happy with the result but does not want to tell the staff member directly. They pay, leave and may later explain their dissatisfaction in a public review.

You hear about it earlier

A low rating triggers a notification. If the customer is still in the salon, you can find out what is wrong and, depending on the service, adjust the result or explain the situation.

Waiting spoiled the visit

The service itself may be fine, but the customer waited longer than expected or felt ignored. Without asking, you may not know that they are leaving dissatisfied.

The issue reaches the right person

The owner or manager can see what caused the frustration and respond directly. If the customer has already left and provided contact details, they can also receive an email reply.

No review gating

Can HejSpoko hide Google from an unhappy customer?

No. Private feedback and the public review option are displayed equally before the customer submits their rating.

Review gating based on the number of stars is therefore not merely disabled in HejSpoko. It is technically impossible because no submitted rating exists when the two options are displayed.

Google remains available to every customer. HejSpoko simply adds another option: tell the salon directly what went wrong.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked

Does HejSpoko replace Google reviews for salons?

No. Public reviews remain part of the process and customers can reach them directly from the HejSpoko screen. They also see an equally visible option to send private feedback to the salon. Both options appear before the customer submits their rating, so public review access does not depend on the score.

Where should a salon place the QR code?

A useful place is by the mirror or workstation, where the customer can already see the result of the service. The code can also be placed at reception or during payment. The aim is to make it available before the customer leaves, while you can still respond in person.

What happens when a customer gives a low rating?

The owner or manager receives a notification within a minute. The overview shows the rating, comment, feedback category and QR code source. If the customer is still in the salon, the issue can be addressed in person. If contact details were provided, you can also reply by email and continue the conversation.

Does HejSpoko filter unhappy customers away from Google reviews?

No. That type of review gating is technically impossible in HejSpoko. Private feedback and public review options are shown before the rating is submitted and receive equal treatment. The system therefore cannot use the rating result to decide who sees Google and who does not.
